Types of Arc Weld Stud:

1. Drawn Arc Stud Welding

The Drawn Arc Stud Weld is progressed to weld the large diameter studded fastener with thick base metal. In Drawn Arc Stud Welding we can weld diameter from 2 to 25 mm.

2. Capacitor Discharge Stud Welding

Capacitor Discharge Stud Welding is generally used to weld the thin base metals to the smaller diameter stud fasteners. The weld cycle can be completed in 0.01 seconds and can also weld on 0.5 mm thin material. According to DIN in capacitor discharge stud welding we can weld from M3 to M10 or diameter from 2 to 10 mm.
